In 1938, one Chicagoan had a dream. Determined to strike off on his own, Sidney Greenspan opened his own plumbing supply house. This was the beginning of Community Home Supply on Lincoln Avenue.
Today, Community is a leading kitchen and bathroom destination – one of the largest in the Chicagoland area. Although Sid and his wife Belle have since passed on, the business is still operated by the family members. Everyday, they strive to maintain the level of quality and personal service that sets Community part.
